Washington DC field trip

We were blessed to be able to go to Washington DC last weekend. Little Man competed in a flag football tournament nearby and, even though they didn't win, we all had a wonderful time.

I loved finding all the places where the faith of our founding fathers is carved in stone.

Possibly my favorite picture of the trip. It was a perfect day, we were walking along the reflecting pool in the sunshine toward the Lincoln Memorial, deep in discussion. A moment. So glad I have a picture of it. And, yes, he is officially taller than me now.
